High heels or Flats

Want to look chic, glamourous and fashionable, then wear high heels. Don't bother about looks and are okay with Auntyji type image then,  wear flats. True or false?

Here I recall a song sung by Noorie "Nachatra liya de ve ucchi addi de boot", literally meaning get me high heeled shoes. Nowadays a lot of variety is available in ladies shoes. Mothers, offices, lecturers, teachers, doctors who work whole day prefer to wear flats so that there is less stress on the foot. Feet handle the weight of the entire body and are the most stress bearing part of the body.

High heels, though look very glam-sham. Other advantage is that the perception of a persons height is increased and the lady looks taller. Wow, thanks to heel even a short lady can look taller due to the high heeled shoes.

Flat shoes are relaxing. Shoes from Liberty, Dr Scholls and Hush Puppies are a blessing for working women, pregnant women. The soles are very comfortable and soft, and feet feel pampered in the shoes.

As far as scientific and health point of view, the entire weight of the body is born by the feet. So if whole day one wears high heels then the evenings will be painful as the foot pains sometimes swell.

If you are a perfect high heel wearer, then it is fantastic several studies have shown that in the long run, the feet are likely to protrude on one side. There will be disformation of the bones. It is the truth.

So ladies what do you think?

In my opinion Flat heels keep your feet in good condition and should be worn most of the times and high heels can be worn on some special occassions like weddings etc.
