5 key lessons to be learned from Chandrayan-3's triumph

1.      Teamwork: "United we stand, divided we fall."- John Dickinson

In the wake of the resounding success of Chandrayan III-, one could observe a splendid glow of contentment and pride beaming on the face of ISRO Chief, S. Somnath. He was accompanied by the other topmost, visionary scientist leaders of diverse teams who stood together in unity. The hall was packed with eminent scholars and scientists. Their positive and indelible aura cast a spell and mesmerized every Indian glued to their television screen or their mobile devices. Indians worldwide were over the moon to learn about the triumphant launch of the Indian spacecraft on the moon. The scientists were on cloud nine and depicted their relentless efforts over four years as fruitful and they were as happy as clam as the waves after a high tide.

2.      Woman Empowerment: Gender equality: "Gender equality in STEM: A win for everyone."

In the room of scientists, one’s gaze would alight upon numerous women adorned in Indian attire - sarees and elegant suits, that harmonized exquisitely with the shining ID card displaying ISRO. This echoed the Indian stance. In India, women can make their own destiny and create a niche, and also boldly embrace the different aspects of a woman’s life, by putting in dedication and pitching in the roles that once stood exclusively for the domain of men, transcending gender boundaries. They have empowered themselves and India has proved that the rights and education is equal for both men and woman and each person in a team plays a vital role in missions and accomplishing the goals for the entire country. A symphony of empowerment echoed through the corridors, a testament to India’s unequivocal stance that both genders are entitled to the same rights and opportunities.

3.      Never give up: "Never give up on what you want to do. The person with big dreams is more powerful than one with all the facts." - Albert Einstein

The Chandrayan-2 mission encountered a setback as it fell short of realizing its multifaced roles. The eminent team of scientists at that time were disheartened and few of them even contemplated relinquishing their esteemed posts. But then later realized that they should try again. They understood that Failures are the pillars of success. In a  crucible of failure, seeds of triumph often take root. The entire ISRO team stalwarts embraced the failure of Chandrayan-2 and geared up to set for the next mission again. Armed with the wisdom gleaned from the previous attempt, the designs were improvised, and the technology and code changed, though some parts and remnants of Chandrayan-2 were reused and woven into future aspects. The budget was reduced by Rs. 363 crores. During the launch of Chandrayan-2, PM Modi graced the event with his presence in the satellite tracking hall of ISRO, but during the launch of Chandrayan-3, he decided to virtually attend it.

4.      Unity in diversity:

The cost of Chandrayan-3 was modest when compared to the exorbitant budget of various Hollywood movies. The successful landing of Chandrayan-3 has created an ever-lasting impression on the denizens of planet Earth. All the Indians irrespective of their caste or creed, or the state they belonged to united and watched the live telecast of the launching of Chandrayaan-3. People of different religions prayed fervently, organized community prayer meetings, and sincerely wished from the core of their hearts for a successful mission. Although people from India belong to different castes, colours, and creeds, and speak different languages, at that time – everyone spoke the same language and expressed the same emotion demonstrating profound unity and nationalism. After the successful launch and moon landing, an exhilarating wave of celebration spread through the populace and people danced to drum beats in the streets. it was an exhilarating experience for everyone. Chandrayaan-3's success instilled an infectious surge of patriotism, uniting all Indians under a single banner of achievement. The momentous event transformed the Indians into a closely-knit family.

5.      Patriotism:

A large majority of Indian youth pursue academics and career opportunities abroad taking into consideration the tag of developed nations with a better lifestyle. This leads to brain drain. Many talented youths have left India to settle abroad. However, it is imperative that Indians should nurture a sense of pride in institutions like ISRO, that are doing path-breaking work. This kind of achievement showcases India is amongst the top nations in Space technology and the young scientists and engineers should stay put in India and use their creativity to achieve more such feats. All those aspiring to go and settle in other countries should understand that you have the capability to take India to new heights and zenith. The age of 'brain drain' must gracefully cede to an era of 'brain rain', a torrential downpour of innovation, creativity, and ingenuity that revitalizes India's landscape.

Conclusion

This journey encapsulated not just scientific approach and progress but the indomitable tenacity of the human spirit, a beacon of light for all the citizens of India as well as the world to behold.

Beauty or the right temperament - what matters for success in life?

Outer appearances are sometimes deceptive; hence it is important to understand the concept of beauty and its significance. Many people are beautiful due to the genes passed on to them by their parents and forefathers. Their inherited beauty is a gift to them at the time of birth with no contribution from them in achieving that, however many a time because of their attractive personality and pleasant looks, they would be benefitted either in their workplace or in general.

It is human nature to get enticed and attracted by the outward beauty and good looks of a person. It is commonly preached in educational institutes that no one should discriminate on the basis of outer appearance and it should not overshadow the actual ability of a person, but this remains in principle and is not followed in reality. As they say – “Never judge a book by its cover” but there is a higher percentage of the human society who is theoretically agreeing with this statement but practically miles away from this ideology.

The psychology of mind and temperament can make or break the overall personality of an individual resulting in growth and acceptance in society. Having extremely good looks but an unruly way of expressing thoughts and emotions in a loud, harsh, impolite manner could create a sense of unacceptance or repulsive behaviour from the listener and later lead to vast drifts between the communicators (speaker and the listener). In general, people would not take it positively and silently start drifting away and parting ways from such beautiful but obnoxious individuals. The tone and manner of communication matter a lot along with a decent, kind and compassionate tone and gestures. Temperament and behaviour should be relaxed and progressive instead of unruly and regressive. Time and again we have seen beauty brings with it a certain arrogance which can make the person a narcissist and instead of attracting a large number of people they become isolated and alone.

People who are successful in life are sincere, humble, down to earth, and mostly attached to their roots. Only gorgeous looks cannot make us touch the skies and reach the zenith, but along with that if the thoughts are lovely and with deep meaning – it can create a unique positive spirit and aura in the individual’s persona. Everyone can learn from the life of people who are successful and have created a niche for themselves in this crowded world with their skills, innovative ideas and being different. We can make amendments to our skill set,  temperament, and disposition. If you believe that every phase of life could be utilized in enhancing and sharpening our thoughts, then introspect yourself and try to inculcate the good values in yourself that you desire to see in others. The temperament of a person should be a positive one if one wishes to be respected in the sphere where you work in. We should observe and understand the behaviour of people around us and take cues on what is appropriate and try to improve ourselves to be a better version. In an effort to keep improving, it is important to be a good listener and understand the real meaning of what people say. It is said that “If speaking is silver, listening is golden”. Temperament showcases the inner beauty of an individual and makes it shine and glitter like a diamond which is appreciated by everyone.

They also say that do not call a spade a spade. Be polite and express your contradictory views about any situation in a diplomatic way in such a way that you are not offending anyone’s emotions.  These days everyone wants to be praised. The world is such that if anyone posts a picture or any information on social media, they are keen for likes and hearts. But no one would accept anything against it nor the dislikes or any other emoji that can hurt their emotions. So, the crux of the topic is to have an inner beauty that will be paired with a balanced mindset and optimistic behaviour in turn enhancing the outer beauty too with a radiance and glow of confidence as well as a behaviour that is respectful towards others.

Can you imagine a day without amazing machines?

Our day starts by picking up milk and newspaper at the door, delivered by people by first using bikes🚴‍♂️ or cycles🚴‍♀️ and later the elevator. We drink water 💦purified by a machine. Then we warm the water using a microwave. We then switch on the geyser before stepping into the shower🚿 if it’s too cold❄. We use a press to iron our clothes👚 and get ready for going to the workplace. Then we hop in a vehicle🚗 to head to our workplace. We use automated vending machines for beverages🧃. The office is equipped with an air conditioner. We work on laptops💻 and in our free time scrolling through the phone📱, both of which are machines. Internet is accessed by wifi and modem router. We then return home🏠 and cook food🍜 for the next day. Atta maker machine to make dough with which rotis and paranthas 🥘are made. Vegetables are chopped, and the curry is made🥔🥕🥗. After a tiring day, we switch on the fan and doze off😴. Every day we use so many machines and don’t even realize it. We should be grateful to God🙏 for all that we have.

Are you a first-time hosteller and feeling lonely? Here are five helpful tips.

Are you a first-time hosteller and feeling lonely? Here are five helpful tips.

First of all, congratulations that you are selected for a professional college🎉! This in itself is a huge achievement. All the sweat, blood, and tears of two years has yielded fruitful results. But this ain’t the end of hard work! It’s just the beginning. So cheer up😊and gear up🦾 for the upcoming four years.

It is very common to experience loneliness in the first few months of stay at a hostel. Remember these five P’s to overcome loneliness in a hostel. Here are a few tips to help you overcome this:

1.    Peers: Identify students whose interests match yours and also students who are serious about studies and befriend them. Avoid discussing private matters with them since they will spread all the information you give them throughout the college.

2.     Parents connection: 📞Call and video call your parents regularly and pour your heart💗 out to them. Tell them about what you are feeling like and all the thoughts and emotions you are going through. This will ease your burden. Your parents will help, guide and motivate you. Also, 🏠visit your parents often (if your house is in the same city as the hostel). Make it a point to visit your parents every weekend🚍. This will give you a change from a strenuous study environment to a less stressful environment.

3.     Pranayam, meditation🧘‍♀️: Brahamari pranayama is very useful for relieving stress and strain (not the physics one). Anulom- vilom opens up the veins. This balances your body. Brahmari, Anulom- vilom can be done by anyone at any time. Ensure to include at least these two pranayams in your daily regime.

4.     Pursue your hobby🎸🎹🎼📸🎨 : By practicing your hobby, you will get peace of mind, which will boost your overall performance in tests.

5.   Physical activity⚽🏸🎾🏏🏑🏀: Based on your sports of interest, create a group and play sports regularly with them. This will keep your physical fitness in check.  “All study and no play makes Tom a dull boy.”

Follow the five P's and beat the loneliness problem. You can do this. Be confident , Be optimistic.

10 practices for a successful social life

These are 10 practices that can be helpful in personal and professional interactions and improve your social stature:

Smile on the face - A genuine smile can have a positive impact on others and create a warm and welcoming atmosphere. It can help to build rapport and establish connections with people.

Diplomacy in behavior - Being diplomatic in your interactions means being tactful and respectful in your responses. It involves acknowledging others' perspectives and opinions, even if you don't fully agree with them. It promotes open communication and can prevent unnecessary conflicts.

Be real and genuine - Admitting when you don't know something or acknowledging that you are not aware of a particular topic shows humility and a willingness to learn. It also encourages others to share their knowledge and insights.

Listening skills - Actively listening to others is an essential skill in effective communication. It involves giving your full attention, being present in the conversation, and demonstrating genuine interest in what the other person is saying. Listening attentively can help you understand others better and foster stronger relationships.

Speaking less and observing more - When entering a new environment, it's often beneficial to take a step back and observe before actively participating. By observing and learning from others, you can gain valuable insights and adapt to the culture and dynamics of the situation.

Giving your input positively - While it's important to provide constructive feedback when necessary, it's equally essential to deliver it in a positive and supportive manner. Focus on highlighting strengths and offering suggestions for improvement rather than simply pointing out flaws.

Cooperation - Being cooperative and willing to lend a helping hand fosters collaboration and teamwork. It creates a positive environment and encourages others to reciprocate, leading to the development of strong relationships and mutual support.

Respond, do not react - Instead of reacting impulsively, take a moment to think before responding to a situation. Reacting often involves emotional outbursts and can lead to unnecessary conflicts. Responding, on the other hand, involves thoughtful consideration and a measured approach.

Mind your own business - Focusing on your own responsibilities and avoiding unnecessary gossip or meddling in others' affairs can help maintain professionalism and build trust. Concentrate on your work, strive for excellence, and avoid distractions that may hinder your progress.

By incorporating these practices into your interactions, you can promote positive relationships, effective communication, and personal growth.

Must read for successful retail property deals in Hyderabad

 Property in Hyderabad

Hyderabad is a city that has seen significant growth and development in recent years, particularly in the IT, pharmaceutical, and aeronautical industries. The credit for this progress can be attributed to the efforts of respected leaders such as Chief Minister Mr. KCR and Mr. KTR, who have fostered connections with US clients and other foreign stakeholders, thereby attracting investment and laying a solid foundation for the city's development.

The city's development extends to various sectors, including transportation with the introduction of the metro, the construction of Outer Ring Road (ORR) for improved connectivity, the establishment of flyovers, the promotion of sports, and advancements in the education sector. This overall progress has created numerous job opportunities not only for the people of Telangana but also for individuals from other parts of India.

Hyderabad also embraces its cultural heritage and promotes traditional crafts and handlooms. Shilparamam, a popular destination, regularly invites artisans from across India to showcase their skills and promote traditional art forms.

The city's infrastructure is notable for its world-class buildings constructed using the latest technology. Areas like New City, Kokapet, and the Financial District boast buildings and office spaces with standards comparable to global amenities.

Due to the abundant opportunities available, Hyderabad has become a hub for individuals seeking livelihoods, attracting people not only from various parts of India but also from different corners of the world. The city's reputation as the "city of pearls" adds to its allure, reflecting its historical significance and cultural richness.

Overall, Hyderabad's remarkable growth and development in the past decade have transformed it into a desirable destination for career opportunities and a cosmopolitan lifestyle.

Top of Form

As more people are coming to the city of dreams, they require accommodation. As they say, necessity is the mother of invention, so many large real estate developers have bought the land and constructed apartments and societies for people and have provided world-class amenities. The name amongst them on the top is – My Home, which has built large societies like – My Home Avatar, My Home Vihanga, My Home Aabhra, and the list goes on. Another very well-known builder is Aparna which has set up its empire in Nallagandla and offered remarkable living spaces to the people under the names - Cyber Zone, Aparna Sarovar, Aparna Cyber Community, and so on. Similarly, other renowned builders are Ramky and Aurobindo who are again adding value to the city with beautiful, impressive layouts and setting up high-tech amenities in the new Hyderabad.

Though there is a remarkable improvement in the standard of living, people are earning five or six figures yet the cost of a 2 BHK apartment and three BHK apartment is in crores, which again is a lifetime EMI for a middle-class person who has children to educate and parents to take care of. If people get financial help from parents then it is fine but if a person has to manage all by himself then he will have to take a loan from a bank and then pay EMIs for ten to twenty years.

Buying a home is not an easy decision so some people prefer to live on rent. But again the rental value of the property nearby Microsoft, Wipro, Amazon, and other reputed companies on ISB Road is shooting up and touching the stars with the skyrocketing prices.

Investing at an early age by planning and organizing funds is a must for youngsters. At the age of 22 -23, a young man/woman starts working. 25 – 26 years is the right age for marriage. Then children – then the education of children – then taking care of everyday needs – then taking care of old parents. Eventually, these duties pile up with the growing age and the passage of time. Youngsters have to plan and take proper decisions on these matters. Sometimes the youth of today debate the age of marriage and having kids. But then these days there are many issues of compatibility in marriage then complications in other matters in life. These are the personal decisions of an individual which if checked will lead to many debatable topics.

Here the main agenda is buying a suitable property in a developing city like Hyderabad that seems like solving a maze as there are many options available.

Want to know what a dairy farm looks and feels like? Read to experience a dairy farm

  Visit to a dairy farm

Greetings!

Today, I am going to tell you all about my visit to a dairy farm. When we are told the word ‘farm’: we picture a Brobdingnagian green expanse, adorned by flowers and fruits, inhabited by herds of cows, buffaloes, and sheep: the green grass swaying in the cool breeze. The word ‘dairy farm’ has a completely different meaning. A dairy farm is a place where the milk shipped from another location is purified and converted into various dairy products.

This might have given you the idea that a dairy farm is like a factory full of machines and folk who operate those machines. In dairy farms, the process of manufacturing is: Raw milk à Quality assessment à Sampling à Temperature control à  Pasteurisation à Heat treatment à Homogenization and mixing à Fermentation, and, culturing à Processing dairy products.

In the dairy farm I visited, they manufactured milk, ice cream, curd, flavored milk, lassi, and cottage cheese- our all time favorite. They offered us a bottle of flavored milk and a 50 ml ice cream cup. Let’s explore a few of the processes recorded live by me:

Tips on how to turn deaf ear to criticism for peaceful life

Tips on how to turn deaf ear to criticism for peaceful life

Handling criticism deftly is a skill that few possess and many try to incorporate into their personality. It requires a strong-minded and mature individual to handle criticism in such a manner that it positively impacts the person’s overall development. We all face criticism from cradle to crematorium. This makes it quintessential for us to learn how to properly face and respond to criticism.

When someone criticizes you, these are the several ways you might respond: be angry, start crying helplessly, start counter-criticizing the person who criticized you, become demotivated to proceed with the task at hand further, or take it as positive feedback and try to improve on it, promising that you won’t repeat the mistake. The last option is the ideal one, which would be expected at your workplace and your home especially. The solution is simple-  don’t react like fluorine. Take a deep breath and think of the reason why you were criticized and try to improve yourself. You need to understand that if there were no real reasons for being criticized, you are being trolled. Ensure that you try to avoid people of this kind. If your higher-ups at the workplace are trolling you, then you need to resign and join a new organization because trust me trolling can take a toll on your mental health. This is from my personal experience.

People criticize you for two reasons: they want you to improve or they want to demoralize you. Understanding the standpoint from which you are being criticized is essential. If someone wants to see an improved version of you, then engage in dialogue with her/him and take the feedback positively because this is what they want. If you dislike their tone, you can clarify that and I am sure that they will change their way of speaking to you since they are your well-wishers. The other group of people who want to demotivate you are the ones who you need to turn a deaf ear to. It might be bullies at school and college, your mother-in-law (if you are a woman), trolls on social media, or your boss at work,……………. This list doesn’t end. Just ignore them and complain to higher authorities if possible.

Summing up, convert criticism into positive feedback in your head, and then there is no one stopping you from succeeding and reaching new heights. Don’t react aggressively. We aren’t halogens or alkali metals. Try to be like a noble gas, as cool as a cucumber.

Why should you be self-reliant by world famous leaders

Self- Reliance

The Take of Leaders on Self-Reliance

‘Aatmanirbhar Bano’(Be self-reliant). This quote reminds you of whom? None other than our beloved Prime Minister, Narendra Modi. Self-reliance has deeper roots in India's historical, cultural, and philosophical traditions, and it continues to be an important principle in the country's development and governance. This concept was strongly advocated by the father of our nation, who lay the foundation for the ‘Swadeshi moment’ in which several bonfires of British goods took place, ‘Khadi promotion’ in which machine-made cloth of Britain was burnt to ashes and handspun cloth was widely encouraged to be made and used.

The late Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam, known as the Missile Man of India and former President, often spoke about the significance of self-reliance. He believed that self-reliance in science, technology, and innovation was crucial for India's progress and development. Dr. Kalam encouraged young minds to contribute to the nation's growth by being self-reliant. On similar terms, PM Modi launched schemes like Make in India Campaign (September 2014) ‘Vocal for Local’(May 12, 2020), and Atmanirbhar Bharat Abhiyan (May 2020).  Also, Ratan Tata envisioned a self-reliant India which he believes is possible by supporting innovation and investment in technology.

Not only Indian leaders, leaders all across the globe, of both democratic and non-democratic nations promote self-dependence. Some of these leaders are Jacinda Ardern (New Zealand), Justin Trudeau (Canada), Angela Merkel (Germany), Emmanuel Macron (France), Scott Morrison (Australia), Lee Kuan Yew (Singapore), Mahathir Mohamad (Malaysia), Deng Xiaoping (China), Park Chung-Hee (South Korea) and Hugo Chávez (Venezuela).

How to be Self-Reliant as Individuals

Now, I am sure that by reading the above content, you would have realized the importance of self-reliance, i.e. self-dependence. Self-reliance is not a concept that should be restricted to Nationwide development. This needs to seep deep into our households. We need to become self-dependent in our homes. One instance which I want to share here is that: One day, a woman’s house was flooded with water since she had absentmindedly left the tap open. She demanded a maid to clean up the mess and was reluctant to move from the sofa until her maid came. The maid arrived in the evening after many follow-ups, since it was a holiday. The lady sighed in relief and thanked her maid for coming and clearing the flooded water. Is this how dependent we should be on our house helps? What if the maid would have arrived the next day? If her home was flooded with water, did she have waterproof sofas, the wood of which would remain intact even after being exposed to water for prolonged periods?

If we have enough time and energy, then we should do our household chores on our own. Doing the household chores such as mopping the floors serves as a two-in-one: the floors are cleaned plus, you burn some calories. Distribute it among the family members based on capabilities instead of overloading the queen of the house. Make your children and partner realize that the house is not only of the women, it is theirs too and it is equally their responsibility to keep the house spick and span.  After a certain age, we should delegate our work to our children so that they have a sense of responsibility and ownership.

Encourage your children to make their bed as soon as they wake up, help you by keeping the cleaned utensils back in place, washing their bicycle and table regularly, keeping their toys back in the right place, folding their clothes, and keeping it back in the Almirah, setting the sofa cushions and cover, switching on the washing machine. Cooking is a skill that every child irrespective of gender needs to learn since there are stages in life when these cooking skills come to use. Skills that children need to be taught include polishing shoes, tying the shoelace, cooking, communication skills, ethics, moral values, anger management, meditation, and any physical activity. This would contribute to the upbringing of self-reliant human beings, who would contribute as assets to the Indian economy.

To sum up, we need to become self-reliant individuals by taking the responsibility of doing our household work on our own. It is time to change. Don’t let the sleeping dogs sleep. Let us pledge to become self-reliant individuals and change our lives.

Want to know the permanent solution to all your anger issues? Here it is:

Want to know the permanent solution to all your anger issues? Here it is:

They say that ‘Empty vessels make the most noise.’ The new generation, also called the gen-Z is recognized by traits such as: being absorbed in social media, disrespect of elders, inclination towards virtual friends while disregarding relations with real people, and virtual gaming. This is alarming. Picking up the topic of disrespect of parents and teachers, the spoiled generation is used to back answering. Whenever the teachers and parents instruct the children to do something, they question each and every instruction. When elders scold the younger generation, they back answer and instead of understanding the purpose of the scolding, they argue and are adamant to listen and improve themselves. This might be due to the ego of the children. Once they start back answering regularly, they develop a habit of doing so. They become so used to doing this that this becomes their new normal. This habit later shows up on job interviews, and later at workplaces, thus posing difficulties. This is something that can be kept in check from when they are born.

The ego problem also causes outbursts of anger even for petty issues. This ego creates a huge gap between what we deserve and desire. For instance, most of the children choosing MPC desire to get into IIT Bombay. We need to do a reality check. Only a few are ready to put in hard work with will power, dedication and determination.

In competitive exams, survival of the fittest, Darwin’s theory is proved. Wake up! Rise and realize that the competition for entry into colleges, and jobs has amped up. Only those who put in the hard work are the ones who bag the prize. To tackle the ‘Ego problem’, one must realize that health wealth and opportunity for education are bestowed to you by the Almighty. These can be snatched away from you this very moment if Almighty wishes that to happen.

Try to understand that the universe in which we live is created by the creator and we are just one of the creations. Think about the vastness of the Universe. Aren’t we just a spec of dust in front of it? Then what are we proud of?  To understand the smallness of us in the Universe better, we can spiritually enhance ourselves. And how can we do this? The answer lies in the culture and heritage of India- practice Yoga, do meditation and ensure that you are physically fit. Physical fitness implies mental fitness. You can practice Brahmari, Isha Kriya and other practices. The tranquility one experiences after doing meditation and after praying to God is unmatchable. If you experience this peace and serenity once, you urge for more and in turn, start practising yoga and meditation more often and later incorporate it in your daily regime.

In conclusion, the habit of back-answering and disrespecting elders and teachers can be overcome by breaking free from the ego-driven mindset. It takes conscious effort and the willingness to change. By practicing meditation, cultivating humility, and acknowledging the divine blessings in our lives, we can bridge the gap between entitlement and respect. Remember, it is not about being the loudest voice in the room; it is about being the person who listens and learns. Best of luck to you if you are trying to change your attitude today onwards!
