Face pack for tanning


Face pack for tanning

  • Mix multani mitti, honey, lemon drops, curd.
  • Make a paste out of it.
  • Apply on the face.
  • Remove after fifteen minutes and see the difference.
  • Store the left out paste in air tight container in refrigerator for next use.

Summer fruits

Common man has something to cheer. In the hot Indian weather here are some fruits that tickle our taste buds and give us contentment.

1. Mango: We all wait for summer time for this golden/yellow, delicious and juicy fruit. Almost all fruits are now available in Market throughout the year however this king of fruits is available in market only for 3 to 3 1/2 months. After all this is our National fruit and "King of Fruits". Summer comes and markets are flooded with Mango. Aam ras, mango shake are some products of this fruit which we can enjoy.

2. Lemons: Another yellow fruit which is a very healthy fellow. A pinch of salt, teas spoon of sugar, and magic masala (not maggi masala) with 2-3 cubes of ice makes a heavenly lemonade.

3. Water melon: These summer fruits, melons have the longest season. Green, green here I come.

4. Pine-apple: Sharp, thorny fruit with many medicinal values. More flavored and tastes some what like mango.

Keep yourself cool

How to be "Thanda Thanda Cool Cool" in summer

1. Drink plenty of water: Drink lots of water to compensate the water lost by body via sweat.

2. Lemon Water: Helps fight the bright scorching sun

3. Ginger + Honey: Keeps the virus and bacteria away from body

4. Black pepper + Tulsi Leaves: Boil 1/2 spoon of black pepper and 10 leaves of Tulsi in water. Wait till the quantity of water is halved. Store it in a bottle. Drink a spoon of it daily, to increase the immunity.

5. Watermelon: Eat lots of it and apply it on the face, an effective face pack for summer.

6. Lassi: Yummy and instant heat reliever, stress reliever. Can be made as sweet or salty.

Red chillies - Lemon pickle


India is the country of the spices and pickles.
Red chillies are easily available in winter. Lemon add zest to the chillies. The pickle is a delicacy with the tinge and spicy taste. Can be enjoyed with paranthas. They add ultimate taste to the food.

Here are the steps to be followed to prepare the pickle:

1. Cut 10 - 15 red chillies along longitudinal axis.
2. Heat oil in the pan.
3. Put some mustard seed. Let them split.
4. Add cut red chillies.
5. Now add some turmeric, a pinch of sugar and salt according to taste.
6. Let it cool.
7. Squeeze two lemons on it and put squeezed lemons in the pickle.
8. Keep the preparation in sun for 5-6 hours. Enjoy the delicious pickle.
